The Governance and Leadership Trainers Workshop is a strategic faculty development initiative intended to professionalize content design and delivery, harmonize facilitation standards, and safeguard the integrity of IoD-K’s curriculum and brand. The workshop establishes a common reference point for facilitators engaged by the Institute and other professional programmes . It aligns learning outcomes, pedagogy, and delivery methods across physical, virtual, and blended formats, while reinforcing IoD-K’s expectations on professionalism, ethics, and intellectual property.
The Programme focuses on the IOD-K Director Development Framework and curriculum architecture, adult learning principles, and effective board-level pedagogy. It emphasizes excellence in content design for directors and senior executives, advanced facilitation skills for boardroom discussions, and the use of case studies, simulations, and experiential learning methods.
Attention is also given to managing diverse boards and complex group dynamics, assessing learning outcomes, and sustaining participant engagement. The Programme further addresses the responsible use of technology in training delivery, as well as ethics, professional conduct, and intellectual property considerations.
